Even when creating glitch art deliberately, corruption can occur. These glitches are representations of what happens when data becomes corrupted, when trying to merge image and information together. There blurred, distorted and significant differences are exposed through the level of corruption that has taken place during the process. Some are extensively unrecognisable, whilst others have some indication to their past appearance. These designs document the vast outcomes when merging information. They and a reminder, of how a small insignificant change, can create a defining difference in a photograph’s end result.
