This limited-edition artwork merges photography with collected data. Using a combination of digital and colour-film photography with sound data, exploring how ambient noise shapes visual representation. Created during travels in Tokyo, Japan, the piece reflects 485 hours of intricate data manipulation, blending technology with artistry. Each work is a unique sensory creation, showcasing the unpredictable interplay between sound and imagery. There is two visible locations in this piece Senso-Ji and Tokyo Skytree.
The artwork is printed under 4mm Gloss Acrylic Glass, at a custom size due to the unpredictability of the merging process distorting the size. The light, shatterproof material enhances the appearance, creating more depth in the colours, and the thickness of the glass creates an illusion of movement when encountering light. There is a 3mm aluminium backing which consists of two layers, sandwiching around polyethylene core, adding to the look and stability of the print. With four all mount posts to hold the artwork in place, to compliment the structural aesthetic. Edition of 5
